This treasure box is made of poplar wood, and cherry wood. The poplar wood was rabbited and cut on a table saw. The cherry wood base was cut on a band saw. It was placed inside the box sides and glued together with tape holding the pieces tight around it. The pattern in the lid was cut on a scroll saw. The lid sides were cut like the box sides on the table saw. Tape was used to hold the sides around the lid top as the glue dried.
