This treasure box is made of Poplar, Jamaican Walnut wood, and Cherry wood. The poplar and walnut wood box sides were rabbited and cut on a table saw. The cherry wood base was cut on a band saw. It was placed inside the box sides and glued together with tape holding the pieces tight around it. The pattern in the walnut lid was cut on a scroll saw. The poplar lid sides were cut like the box sides on the table saw. Tape was used to hold the sides around the lid top as the glue dried.
